Al Manarat Islamic School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Part-Time French Teacher

to join our team. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about teaching French to young learners in a fun and engaging way, and who is committed to integrating Islamic values into the curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for the Montessori philosophy and a strong desire to support our students' linguistic and cultural development.

Responsibilities:

Implement French Curriculum:

Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate French lessons that cater to the unique learning styles of our students.

Create an Engaging Environment:

Foster a positive and immersive classroom setting that encourages students to practice speaking and listening in French.

Integrate Islamic Foundations:

Weave Islamic values and teachings into French lessons, promoting good character (

akhlaq

), respect, and kindness.

Assess Student Progress:

Observe and document each child's progress in French, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.

Parent Communication:

Maintain open and respectful communication with parents, sharing updates on their child's language development.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with the Montessori teachers and other staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Proven experience teaching French to children is essential.

Language Proficiency:

Native or near-native fluency in French is required.

Educational Background:

A degree in French, Education, or a related field is preferred.

Islamic Values:

A personal commitment to and understanding of Islamic foundations and a desire to nurture these values in children.

Essential Skills:

Excellent communication skills and a patient, energetic, and creative demeanor.
