We are currently seeking a
dynamic and enthusiastic French Teacher
to join our vibrant community. This part-time position offers the opportunity to inspire children aged
4 to 10 years (Senior Kindergarten to Grade 5)
to develop a lifelong love for the French language and culture.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and interactive French lessons tailored to a variety of skill levels.
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence in learning French.
Prepare materials and activities that support the Montessori philosophy and French curriculum.
Support students' progress through encouragement, guidance, and appropriate follow-up assignments.
Maintain effective classroom management and foster respect, collaboration, and joy in learning.
Qualifications & Skills
Fluency in
spoken and written French
(native or near-native level).
Strong knowledge of French language and grammar through university or college studies.
Passion for teaching and the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Experience teaching French to elementary-age children (preferred).
DELF certification
is an asset.
Education Requirements
Completion of advanced French courses or a
degree/diploma in French
from a recognized college or university.
Current university or college students with relevant teaching experience are welcome to apply.
