JOB PURPOSEThe Industrial Mechanic is responsible for design, fabrication, assembly, troubleshooting ad repairs and customizing of new or existing specialized seating and mobility devices specific to meet the needs of physically disabled children and adults. This person works closely with the client, family/caregiver, health professional and vendor representatives assisting as required for transfers and assessments.QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold Provincial Certification of Qualification (Red Seal) issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright).
• Must have two years of experience.
• Must have valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
• Wiling to obtain technical training courses related to the job duties.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Industrial Mechanic is responsible for:

• Installation, assembly, maintaining and repairing, welding, machining of seating and mobility components.
• Keeping and maintaining client records, searches for cost effective products and materials for use in fabrication and customization seating and mobility devices.
• Organize and coordinating work, shop tools and equipment.
• Travel throughout New Brunswick to outreach clinics is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
