Roles/ Responsibilities
\xef\x83\x98 Knowledge of equipment as pumps, gearboxes, valves, Conveyors, augurs etc
\xef\x83\x98 Inspection, disassemble, reassemble, installation, adjustment and maintenance of mechanical equipment on site.
\xef\x83\x98 Troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify problem and resolve.
\xef\x83\x98 Safe lifting of large oversized industrial parts used in industry.
\xef\x83\x98 Working knowledge and use of a micrometer, calipers, dial indicators, and other tools necessary to measure and set required tolerances.
\xef\x83\x98 Knowledge of pump alignment including use of alignment tools.
\xef\x83\x98 Proactive pre-use inspection of tools and equipment.
\xef\x83\x98 Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints and operation & maintenance manuals.
\xef\x83\x98 Work well as part of a team or on own to ensure customers needs are met in the required timeline without compromising safety.
\xef\x83\x98 Continuously driving safety and accountability.
\xef\x83\x98 Completion of site-specific documentation, permits and other customer paperwork as necessary.
\xef\x83\x98 Develop inspection reports documenting inspection data and findings.
\xef\x83\x98 Participate and coordinate site project kick-offs where required.
\xef\x83\x98 Interface with the customer and provide professional and courteous feedback in a timely manner.
\xef\x83\x98 Ensures the safety of self and others.
\xef\x83\x98 Compliance to company safety procedures and legal obligations
\xef\x83\x98 Recognize, report and resolve all hazards.
\xef\x83\x98 Intervene where unsafe practices are identified
\xef\x83\x98 Promote a zero-harm culture
\xef\x83\x98 Other duties as assigned
Physical Effort and Requirements
\xef\x83\x98 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
\xef\x83\x98 Stair/ladder climbing as required
\xef\x83\x98 Working at heights
\xef\x83\x98 Bending, crouching, grasping
\xef\x83\x98 Standing for extended periods
\xef\x83\x98 Working in cold or hot environment
\xef\x83\x98 Confined space
Qualifications
\xef\x83\x98 Minimum of Grade 12 education.
\xef\x83\x98 Hold a Red seal Millwright trade ticket
\xef\x83\x98 Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and is very responsible.
\xef\x83\x98 Good communication skills and ability to work individually as well as a team environment
\xef\x83\x98 Previous related industrial experience especially within a good manufacturing environment would be considered an asset, but not required
\xef\x83\x98 Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
\xef\x83\x98 Candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic
\xef\x83\x98 Working knowledge of mechanical systems including but not limited to pumps, bearings, gearboxes, motors, alignments, lubrication, and vibration analysis.
\xef\x83\x98 Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks with a keen sense of urgency in a safe environment
\xef\x83\x98 Data entry \xe2\x80\x93 Must be able to maintain accurate record keeping
