Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Wood Framing Carpenter to join our team. As a Framing Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in blueprint reading, concrete forming, and using hand and power tools. Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine project specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials according to project requirements
- Construct and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, windows, doors, cabinets, and stairs
- Install drywall and siding
- Build concrete forms for foundations and other structures
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools or power tools
- Perform heavy lifting as required Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to use hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes
- Experience with power tools such as drills, sanders, routers, and nail guns
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques
- Ability to weld is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
