Job Description
Potvin construction, one of Ottawa's largest cabinet manufacturer is actively looking for experience framing carpenters. We are looking for candidates who are competent, motivated, organized and courteous individuals with outstanding millwork skill.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various projects, including building, restoring, and maintaining structures. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in framing Experience working in residential construction Experience framing floors, walls, truss roofs and more Good communication skills Reliable Positive Attitude Must have own car and tools Must possess basic electrical and mechanical knowledge Bilingual would be an asset (English and French) Willing to travel to various sites across the greater Ottawa area with a concentration in the west end.
