Backstreet Concrete Inc. is a leading name in structural and civil concrete construction, known for delivering precision, safety, and top-quality results. We specialize in complex formwork, foundations, slabs, and structural concrete projects across Ontario.

We're looking for an experienced Formwork Foreman to lead our crews and ensure high standards of workmanship and productivity on every project.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of formwork crews on site. Read and interpret structural drawings and formwork plans with accuracy. Plan and organize materials, equipment, and labour resources effectively. Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and schedule expectations. Communicate clearly with project managers, site supervisors, and trades. Lead by example in maintaining a professional, safe, and productive job site. Track crew hours, material usage, and production rates. Train and mentor crew members to improve skill and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in formwork construction (walls, columns, slabs, foundations). At least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. Strong understanding of blueprints, layout, and structural details. Ability to manage teams and enforce deadlines. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Safety certifications (WHMIS, Working at Heights) are mandatory. Concrete finishing and layout experience considered an asset.
