Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and certified Forklift Driver to join our team at our Calgary terminal. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift license and prior experience handling freight in a busy warehouse or transportation environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, crane equipment, and other heavy machinery to load and unload shipments. Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, or storage areas while adhering to safety protocols. Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records in real-time. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, including stacking pallets with pallet jacks or forklifts as needed. Assist with materials handling tasks such as using mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting or maintenance when required. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards during all operations. Support warehouse supervision by maintaining organized storage areas and reporting any safety hazards or equipment issues promptly. Operate various types of heavy equipment including crane, clamp truck, forklift, and load & unload machinery to optimize workflow.

Valid

Forklift License/Certification

. Minimum

2 year of forklift operating experience

in a warehouse or logistics environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced setting. Experience with heavy equipment operation such as cranes or clamp trucks is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking procedures. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues when necessary. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts while maintaining safety protocols. Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for candidates interested in growth opportunities within the team. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and inventory management. Construction or materials handling background can be advantageous for understanding complex logistics environments.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
