Foreman/ Lead Carpenter

Job Description

The Foreman/Lead Carpenter plays a critical role in managing and executing carpentry tasks on remodel projects while acting as the on-site "foreman" who troubleshoots issues, maintains project flow, and ensures quality workmanship. This hybrid role combines leadership, hands-on carpentry skills, and rapid problem-solving to keep projects on schedule and clients satisfied.

Key Responsibilities Carpentry & Skilled Labor



Perform advanced carpentry work including framing, trimming, cabinetry, and custom installations. Interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications. Ensure all carpentry tasks meet Tribeka Remodels' quality standards.

Leadership & Coordination



Lead and mentor carpentry crew members and subcontractors on-site. Delegate tasks, maintain workflow, and ensure productivity. Oversee day-to-day site operations and uphold safety guidelines.

Problem-Solving



Respond quickly to unexpected issues or project delays. Troubleshoot structural, design, supply, or coordination challenges. Offer creative, cost-effective solutions to keep projects moving. Communicate issues and resolutions to project managers promptly.

Client Interaction



Maintain a professional, courteous presence on client sites. Provide clear updates, set expectations, and ensure client concerns are addressed. Represent Tribeka Remodels' commitment to quality and integrity.

Project Support



Assist with layout, measurements, and project planning. Verify materials are available and organized for daily tasks. Ensure job sites remain clean, safe, and well-managed.

Qualifications



7+ years of carpentry experience, preferably in residential remodeling. Full understanding of framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and general construction practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and subcontractors. Proven problem-solving ability with a "get it done" mindset. Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willing to use our systems and software

Pay: $25.50-$40.00 per hour
