As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The Lead Carpenter will oversee and execute various carpentry projects, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and efficiency. This role involves supervising a team of carpenters, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive carpentry experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Please do not apply if you have less than 3 years experience leading a team of Carpenters in the residential renovation field.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and apprentices on construction and renovation projects. Interpret and execute blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements. Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including framing, installing windows and doors, trim work, cabinetry, and other custom woodwork. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite, adhering to all safety regulations and best practices. Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry for at least 3 years. Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Certification in carpentry or a related field is preferred. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $24.75-$43.13 per hour
