Miramichi Lodge is currently seeking a dedicated and engaging Food Services Supervisor to oversee and lead our Food Services Department. Reporting to the Director of Long Term Care, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, client-focused food services aligned with out Mission and Philosophy. Responsibilities

Ensures Food Services are provided in a manner that focuses on the satisfaction of the clients and fully supports their rights. Responsible for the preparation and control of the approved Food Services Department budget and all related expenditures. Ensure the effective, efficient utilization of human resources for the Food Services Department. Responsible for the effective management of assets for the Department. Promotes and enhances positive relationship with community and external organizations. Promotes and enhances effective communications throughout the Food Services Department. Responsible for the operations of the Environmental Services Department in the absence of the Environmental Services Supervisor. Performs the responsibilities of the position within the legislative and regulatory standards set out in the applicable Provincial and Municipal Acts. Performs the responsibilities of the position consistent with the Operational policies of the County of Renfrew. Protects own health and health of others by adopting safe work practices, reporting unsafe conditions immediately, and attending all relevant in-services regarding occupational health and safety. Follows all guidelines for employees and employers as legislated under the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Qualifications

Diploma in Food and Nutrition Management from a recognized program; Active member of The Canadian Society of Nutrition Management or a Registered Dietitian; Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate; Previous professional experience in a health care setting, preferably food service management; Proven leadership abilities combined with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Time Management skills with ability to prioritize and multitask; Solid knowledge of basic therapeutic nutrition as it relates to the needs of the Long-Term Care population; Proficient computer skills; Knowledge in clinical documentation; Must be flexible and willing to respond to the needs of others; Ability to meet and maintain health requirement standards of Miramichi Lodge as per Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021; Must have immediate accessible transportation; Must be legally eligible to work in Canada; Able to secure a clean Vulnerable Sector Check.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48.32-$54.39 per hour
