SummaryThe food service supervisor position requires the supervision of the service team on shift to ensure the standards of all operations are maintained as outlined by the manager. The role is operational in nature and has a strong emphasis on customer service and positive attitude. The role of the supervisor is to ensure our food is offered to our customers in an exceptional and positive manner at all times.Duties and Responsibilities
- Works along side other staff members and ensures optimal product satisfaction
- Complies with and enforces all operating standards
- Updates and keeps all staff members informed on duties for each shift
- Supervises team members in a positive way to ensure all standards and procedures are upheld
- Ensures optimal team member coverage at all times and works various positions during busy periods to maintain operational efficiency and integrity
- Escalates to manage any issues and or problems ( customer and employee related)
- Ensures all staff members are following restaurant policies ( meal and break policies, cell phones, food safety, cash policies)
- At least one year of supervisory or management experience in hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and positive attitude
- Success with communication and strong customer service
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player
