Full Time - $20.50/hour Work Monday-Thursday Days 3 Day weekend every week Full Benefit Package Company Pension Match at 5%

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients in mixing area per established batch list and schedule. This includes weighing, measuring, and verification of proper ingredients Ensure lot code identification numbers are documented Arrange raw ingredients which are needed for production Properly store each ingredient in its assigned place and make sure it is properly covered Follow batches with precise measurements to create a very specialized batter Operate mixing machinery/ equipment as trained and follow all safety guidelines at all times Use a variety of tools (scales, thermometers, knives, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the Production Manager Maintain quality of finished product by monitoring texture, shape, and colour of product Maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitation of work area & equipment Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety and quality policies

Qualifications

Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility Mixing experience preferred Accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to detect the presence of a quality issue Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication skills, along with simple mathematical abilities Physically capable of performing the demands of the role Ability to lift 40kg Ability to move from one task to another with minimal distraction

A successful food processor/batcher is reliable and able to work with attention to detail. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.
