We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our CHICK-N-JOY team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with customers will contribute to a positive experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.

Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area in compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during peak hours. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food served.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to operate a POS system; experience with Micros POS is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to learn about menu items and promote them effectively through upselling techniques. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
