Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our food service operation, responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation and transactions. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the food industry and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, food prep stations, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer questions or concerns professionally. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service preferred; restaurant experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude. Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Understanding of sanitation practices within a food industry setting. Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales opportunities. Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
