Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly to guests. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to maintain high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery to guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order specifications, special requests, and any modifications. Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Operate POS systems for order entry and payment processing, ensuring accuracy in transactions. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support servers by assisting with meal delivery, clearing tables, and providing exceptional guest services.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Kitchen experience, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning duties. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in hospitality or hotel settings is beneficial but not required.
