Overview
We are seeking an Expeditor to join our team. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of orders and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist in coordinating food orders between the kitchen and serving staff
- Ensure timely delivery of dishes to customers
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to prioritize orders
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
- Support kitchen and service teams during peak hours
Skills
- Experience in food service or hospitality industry is preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems for order processing
- Strong communication skills to liaise between kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to handle cash transactions is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen operations in a restaurant or hotel setting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
