We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently and accurately to our guests. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Duties
Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely delivery to guests.
Monitor food presentation and quality before it leaves the kitchen, ensuring it meets our high standards.
Operate POS systems for order entry
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency during peak service times.
Support other roles in the restaurant as needed, including cleaning, stocking supplies, and assisting with guest services.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Experience with POS systems, specifically Micros POS, is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A background in hospitality or guest services is a plus, along with barista experience if applicable.
