Description :If you\xe2\x80\x99re passionate about leading a team that is, committed to the Team Member Experience and driven by innovation and growth \xe2\x80\x93 then join us!The Food and Beverage Manager is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents through the strong leadership and motivation of Sienna team members.As a Food and Beverage Manager your typical day will impact in the following ways:

• Planning, co-ordinating, directing, and monitoring the effectiveness of all food and beverage activities in the residence to meet the organization and Hospitality Style Dining Service expectations.
• Developing and conducting in-service programs and ensures all team members have been trained in safe food handling techniques.
• Recruiting, supervising, coaching and mentoring departmental team members.
• Overseeing all expenditures to ensure the department operates within budgetary guidelines and takes action on variances to bring expenditures in line with budget.
• Acting in a leadership capacity to foster good working relationships with relevant persons within Public Health (Ontario only).
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Must haves:

• Must hold a diploma in Food and Beverage Management/Hospitality Management from a recognized college or Red Seal designation.
• Must hold a valid Safe Food Handling Certificate and Smart Serve certificate.
• A minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 management experience.
• Must possess excellent supervisory and leadership abilities in the areas of human resources.
• Must express initiative, good judgment and foster a positive work atmosphere.
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check. Applicable to Ontario applicants.
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Records Check. Applicable to British Columbia applicants.

Bonus points for having:

• Experience in Hospitality or Retirement Residence industry preferred.
