This position is responsible for supporting the F&B Division by providing analysis of key financials and reports to achieve budgeted revenues and profitability. Strong analytical capabilities coupled with attention to detail, and strong presentation skills are essential for the success of this role.

What you will be doing:
  • Track of all SAQ and compliance
  • Develop reports to ensure that financial goals are achieved
  • Weekly and Monthly forecasting as required
  • Support with assist with the development of the annual business plan
  • Liaison with Accounting to ensure compliance with all Accor Standards Operating Procedures and reporting needs for the Food and Beverage department
  • Drive departmental performance through effective restaurant revenue management and look for opportunities for improvement
  • Evaluate food and beverage inventory to increase turnover, estimate aging for dead stock; work with purchasing, and identify opportunities for inventory control and procuring prospects
  • Create month end food and beverage reports that specifically target P&L, labor reporting, seat occupancy, revpash, etc. and analyze in order to implement suggestions to increase profitability
  • Conduct monthly menu evaluations and recommend changes to further drive revenue
  • Conduct menu checks to ensure accuracy with POS
  • Track and reconcile gratuities collections and payouts
  • Follow up with departments, review procedures, make recommendations and perform training as needed
  • Silverware programing, button and menu changes
  • Moneris equipment checks and validating and upgrading as needed
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, F&B, or other relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; hotel and/or casino F&B experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial statements
  • Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operational results
  • Advanced Excel skills required; Access or Sequel (SQL) proficiency strongly encouraged
  • Ability to work in/with Microsoft Office, Micros, Avero Revenue Management and Birchstreet
  • Good verbal/written communications skills
  • Excellent presentation and training skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under pressure
