We specialize in retail floral arrangements orders, but mainly floral arrangements for events mainly for weddings, special events, corporate galas and in the film industry.

We are looking to hire a Part Time florist designer to join our growing team. If you're hard-working and dedicated, this is a great place to grow your career.

Responsibilities for a Florist Designer

Independent and creative in their floral design work Receiving shipments, and then snipping and displaying our flowers. Picking up flowers from the wholesaler Carefully arranging palatable wedding bouquets. Packaging clients' flowers to prevent breakages. Coordinating flower deliveries. Floral duties such as prepping fresh floral and assisting in organizing fresh floral orders. Flexibility to assist with weekend event set ups of the floral arrangements.
Qualifications for Florist:

2 - 3 years experience in the floral industry. High school diploma. Demonstrable experience as a florist. Completion of a Botany-related course is highly advantageous. Acutely familiar with plants' nutritional needs and life spans. Knowledgeable about flower handling techniques. Ability to nourish, combine, and affix flowers and pertinent accessories. Approachable, patient, and forthcoming. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and duties. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Other Requirements

Valid BC Drivers License and access to a vehicle is required Perform other related duties as assigned
This is a part-time position. Please note, some evening, weekend work and flexibility will be required for this position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
