Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Florist to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, horticulture, and customer service, with the ability to create beautiful arrangements for various occasions. The Florist will be responsible for designing floral arrangements, assisting customers, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store's floral displays.

Duties

Create custom floral arrangements for events, holidays, and everyday occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Assist customers with selecting flowers and designing bouquets that meet their needs and preferences. Operate POS systems for sales transactions, handle cash, and process payments accurately. Maintain the floral display area by restocking flowers, arranging merchandise attractively, and ensuring cleanliness. Manage inventory levels of flowers, plants, and related supplies through merchandising and stock management. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering gardening and horticulture advice, and supporting sales efforts. Support landscape maintenance tasks as needed to enhance the store's outdoor presentation. Utilize multilingual communication skills to assist diverse customer bases effectively. Engage in e-commerce activities such as online order processing and order fulfillment when required. Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed during transactions with attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

Proven experience in floral design or related horticulture fields is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus. Knowledge of POS systems, retail sales processes, merchandising, and cash handling procedures. Familiarity with landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices is desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience with e-commerce platforms is advantageous.
