Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and reliable Florist to join our team. This role involves floral design, customer service, and daily shop support. Hours are part-time, with the opportunity for additional hours during peak seasons such as holidays and special events.
Responsibilities
Design and assemble floral arrangements for everyday orders and special occasions
Assist customers with flower selection, custom orders, and care instructions
Process sales and orders accurately (in-store, phone, and/or online)
Maintain freshness and quality of flowers
Receive, process, and organize floral deliveries
Keep work areas, displays, and storefront clean and presentable
Follow shop standards for floral design, safety, and handling
Assist with and complete local flower deliveries as needed.
Schedule & Availability
Part-time hours
Must be available for increased hours during peak seasons (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, holidays, weddings, etc.)
Qualifications
Floral design experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Creative, detail-oriented, and organized
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift buckets of flowers as needed
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
