Whether working inside the showroom or conducting outside sales visits, you'll be at the forefront of creating inspiring environments for our clients.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers in-store and on-site to understand their flooring, renovation, and remodeling goals, providing expert guidance on product options. Upsell complementary products such as lighting, lighting design elements, and accessories to enhance overall customer satisfaction and sales volume. Manage inside sales transactions including POS (Point of Sale) operations, cash handling, and retail math calculations to ensure accurate processing. Develop and maintain strong account management relationships with clients, offering ongoing support for flooring maintenance and remodeling projects. Collaborate with clients on layout design, lighting solutions, and interior design concepts to create cohesive and high-end spaces. Assist in merchandising efforts by organizing stock, updating displays, and ensuring the showroom reflects current trends in flooring and lighting sales. Utilize marketing strategies to attract new customers through community outreach or digital platforms while maintaining excellent communication skills.

Requirements

Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on high-end products or interior design. Strong knowledge of flooring materials, renovation processes, construction basics, and remodeling techniques. Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining detailed account records. Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous for broader customer engagement. Basic math skills for retail math calculations, pricing strategies, and financial transactions.
