Duties



Engage with customers both inside the store and through outside sales efforts to understand their flooring needs and preferences. Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos and explain installation processes to ensure customer confidence. Upsell complementary products such as lighting, remodeling materials, or maintenance services to maximize sales opportunities. Assist customers with remodeling projects by providing expert advice on layout design, interior design concepts, and renovation strategies. Manage account relationships through effective communication skills, negotiation, and account management techniques to foster long-term loyalty. Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock levels, and POS (Point of Sale) systems while ensuring excellent customer service at checkout counters.

Qualifications



Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales with a focus on high-end products or renovation projects. Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and related construction or remodeling processes. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects efficiently. Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Familiarity with merchandising techniques, marketing strategies, and inside sales tactics to drive revenue growth. Exceptional communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous for broader outreach.
