We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Home Reno Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to engage with customers effectively.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Demonstrate product knowledge and provide detailed information to customers to facilitate informed purchasing decisions. Engage in upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display to enhance the shopping experience. Conduct product demonstrations and provide insights on high-end products to potential buyers. Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards. Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately. Proficiency in using POS systems; Experience in high-end sales, outside sales, or inside sales is advantageous. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and marketing strategies is beneficial. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
