Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Flooring Installer and Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our projects. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with flooring installation is required. All of the work we do is in a residential setting so respect for the home and the homeowners is essential.

Duties

Assist in flooring installation of different types: carpet, vinyl, laminate, etc. Participate in site preparation and cleanup activities. Adhere to project timelines and complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Operate hand tools and power tools. Support skilled tradespeople with various tasks as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately and effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration. Ability to work as a team as well as individually Knowledge of safety practices in a construction/renovation setting is a plus. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
