We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various flooring types and possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
This role involves installing flooring materials in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas according to project specifications.
Install various types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet.
Lay tiles accurately, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and installation requirements.
Perform necessary carpentry tasks related to flooring installation, such as building subfloors or trim work.
Apply caulking and other finishing materials to ensure a polished final appearance.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing basic repairs as needed.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process.
Skills
Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in flooring installation.
Strong background in construction practices related to flooring projects.
Experience with flooring installation techniques for various materials.
Knowledge of tile laying methods and best practices for durability and aesthetics.
Ability to read blueprints accurately for effective project execution.
Carpentry skills for additional tasks that may arise during installations.
Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing edges and joints effectively.
