Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of flooring, including hardwood, vinyl and laminate, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Harwood experience is a must.

Duties

Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation according to project specifications Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and lay flooring materials accurately Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise installation Install tiles, hardwood, laminate, or other flooring materials following industry standards Perform surface preparation tasks such as leveling, underlayment installation, and caulking Ensure all installations meet safety standards and quality expectations Collaborate with team members and clients to coordinate project timelines and requirements Maintain a clean work environment and properly handle all tools and materials

Qualifications

Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying. Proficiency with hand tools, carpentry, and maintenance person skills Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Knowledge of flooring materials, surface preparation, and caulking techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or scaffolding as needed Prior experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not required Reliable transportation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
