We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation and a strong understanding of various flooring materials and techniques. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Flooring Installer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining different types of flooring in residential and commercial settings.
Duties
Install various types of flooring materials including laminate, and vinyl.
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements.
Measure and cut flooring materials accurately to fit designated spaces.
Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and caulking as necessary.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations.
Collaborate with clients to ensure satisfaction with the finished product.
Perform repairs on existing flooring as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields such as carpentry or maintenance person services.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
