Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively on various projects. This role requires expertise in tile laying, blueprint reading, and the use of hand tools. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality installations that meet our clients' specifications and expectations.

Responsibilities

Install various types of flooring materials, including tile, laminate, hardwood, and vinyl. Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to determine layout and installation requirements. Prepare surfaces for flooring installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayment. Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to cut, shape, and install flooring materials. Apply caulking as needed to ensure a finished look and seal gaps. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct final inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience in flooring installation or a related field is an ABSOLUTE MUST. Proficiency in floor laying techniques and familiarity with various flooring materials. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding project specifications. Experience using hand tools commonly used in flooring installation. A background as a carpenter or maintenance person is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$31.00 per hour
