We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and construction, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in various residential and commercial settings. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for transforming spaces by installing high-quality flooring materials, ensuring that each project meets our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
Perform floor preparation, including levelling, patching, and wood subfloor installation.
Install resilient sheet, plank, and tile.
Install laminate and click vinyl plank.
Install carpet and carpet tiles.
Install resilient wall base.
Tile setting (an asset).
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in the flooring industry.
Licence:
Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable vehicle.
Certifications:
Red Seal Journeyman ticket (an asset).
Skills:
Proficiency in tile laying (an asset).
Physical Ability:
Able to lift/carry over 50 lbs regularly and occasionally over 100 lbs.
Other Requirements:
Active WCB coverage with a Clearance Certificate/Letter.
Own tools and vehicle required.
Ability to provide invoices for each job (pay is per job).
Clean criminal record.
Professional appearance and attitude.
References required.
