Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Chilliwack, BC. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and possess a

Valid BC Early Childhood Education

(ECE)

certification. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our floor and ensuring that high-quality standards are met in the care and education of young children.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification (Please do not apply if you have an ECEA). Minimum

5 years

of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an early childhood education setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English

is required (both written and spoken). Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and care. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Must reside in Chilliwack, BC.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications or training in early childhood education is a plus. Previous experience working in a supervisory role within a large child care or education facility.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment, fostering their development through play and structured activities. Implement early childhood education programs that promote learning and social skills. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and needs. Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Lead and mentor staff, providing guidance and support in daily operations. Ensure compliance with First Aid and CPR standards to maintain a safe environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.10-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
