Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a full-time

Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

who is energetic, flexible, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced childcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and experience working with children from various age groups, including

Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, and School-Aged

children. Experience supporting children with

special needs

is essential.

Work Schedule:

Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts between the hours of:

7:30 AM - 4:30 PM 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Provide developmentally appropriate programming and activities for children Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Support children with special needs using individualized strategies and accommodations Maintain open communication with families and team members Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures in accordance with licensing and organizational policies Apply behaviour guidance strategies effectively to support a range of children's needs Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times

Qualifications:

Registered and in good standing with the

College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)

Current certification in

Standard First Aid and CPR Level C

Training in

anaphylaxis response and behaviour guidance techniques

Experience working in a childcare or educational setting, particularly with children with special needs Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a

fast-paced, high-energy environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.86 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
