Fleet and Equipment Coordinator This position currently reports to the Director of Public Operations, although the reporting relationship is under review. The role is responsible for the efficient and cost-effective maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment. Key responsibilities include fleet asset management, such as procurement, licensing, lifecycle maintenance, and disposal. The coordinator will work closely with departmental supervisors to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs. Additionally, the position ensures that drivers and operators receive adequate training and comply with Town policies when using vehicles or equipment.Duties and Responsibilities * Oversee all fleet asset management from acquisition to surplus per Town policy. Monitor asset condition and develop lifecycles with appropriate reserve contributions for replacements.
