Flagger / Traffic Controller
Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience maintaining a constant awareness of traffic regulations and the ability to provide clear and concise instructions regarding the flow of traffic. This fast-paced position will require an individual with the capacity to multitask and work well under pressure. Candidates must be able to work well with other transportation professionals and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Handle the flow of traffic on busy roads.
Ensure traffic flows smoothly and safely.
Make sure that drivers engage in proper behavior while driving.
Communicate with drivers via radio or phone to get them to cooperate.
Be able to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5-6 months
Pay: $16.00-$18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 32.5 - 40 per week

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
