Flagger / Traffic Control Person
Job Description
Parsons Paving Ltd. is looking to hire reliable, experienced Flagger / Traffic Control Person to join our asphalt paving team for the 2025 season. 2 years experience in flagging preferred.
Must be able to safely and effectively direct traffic to ensure workers are safe in the work zone, and that the general public is kept safe during construction.
Must have a valid class 5 Drivers license, a valid Traffic Control Certificate (level 1, or level 1/2) and WHMIS 2015 certification.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in all weather conditions is required.
Wages will be based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
Schedule:
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
St. John's, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
traffic control: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
WHMIS 2015 Certification (preferred)
Traffic Control (Level 1 minimum) (preferred)
Class 5 Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
