  • Responsible for performing accounting operations and analyses related to AIM Group\'s fixed assets projects;
  • Code fixed assets and calculating depreciation for all entities of the division under scope;
  • Update and reconcile assets status and locations in the systems ( Maximo vs D365);
  • Provide support to internal clients and act as a super user in our D365 Finance and Operations accounting system for the fixed assets module;
  • Ensure the follow-up of the financial management of construction projects;
  • Responsible for maintaining the continuity schedule of fixed assets as well as the assignment of tax class to new acquisitions;
  • Participate in the development of annual capex budgets across the group;
  • Participate in all process improvement projects in capital assets;
  • Act as point of contact for subject /requests related to assets during external audits
  • Answer tax department requests regarding asset details (acquisitions, disposals..etc) during annual income tax return preparation;
  • Various Ad-hoc analysis (lease vs buy, ROI..etc).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, accounting and/or finance
  • 3 to 5 years\' experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite
  • Very good knowledge of the accounting cycle and principles
  • Knowledge of Maximo (IBM) and D365 (an asset)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and thoroughness; autonomy and sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, planning and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
