Join the TELUS Health Corporate Wellness team! We are hiring a Fitness & Wellness Coordinator for a corporate client in Toronto ON. The ideal candidate will have several years of fitness and wellness programming experience, strong group exercise skills and a proven track record of professional customer service.

What you'll do

• Manage the operations of the onsite fitness facility
• Monitor fitness facility policies, procedures and membership protocols
• Instruct a variety of fitness classes and oversee scheduling of fitness classes
• Manage a team of contract fitness instructors
• Collaborate with assistant consultant(s), and ensure effective team communication
• Coordinate health promotion events and wellness programming (challenges, special events)
• Support fitness facility marketing, advertising and promotion
• Liaise with corporate client and TELUS Health Team Manager to fulfill program goals
• Conduct weekly, monthly and/or quarterly meetings with assistant consultant(s), team manager and client

Qualifications

What you bring

• Post-secondary education in Exercise Science and/or health promotion fields
• Current certification in Personal Training & Fitness Instructor/Group Exercise Leadership
• CPR, AED & First Aid certified
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
• Proven effective leadership skills
• High degree of self motivation and initiative
• Strong organization and time management skills

Great-to-haves

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate fitness and wellness, including teaching group exercise classes and personal training
