Walleye and Northern Fishing Guides wanted for Fly-In Fishing Resort in Manitoba.

Fishing Guide wages and responsibilities.

Season is May 10 to Aug. 8, 2025

$200.00/day Canadian funds for guiding or shore work.

Guided Night Fishing Tip =

$30.00/hour USD paid by guest in addition to daily rate.

Guide tips may vary greatly upon an individual's overall experience and the service the guests were provided.

-Most guide tips are $150 a day/ boat USD.

Example>3 days, 2 guests
3 days x 2 guests ($150/day) = $450 USD
4-day trip, 2 guests
4 days x 2 guests ($150/day) = $600 USD

Guiding tips are just a suggestion. If you think they did better or worse, please tip according to your experience.

Responsibilities

o Take 2 or 3 guests fishing from 8:00am to 5:00pm

o Offer guests evening fishing for an additional fee

o Cook shore lunch every day for guests

o Clean and maintain boat and other equipment that you will need for guiding

o Offer professional, courteous, and enjoyable fishing experience with your guests.

o Fish for both Walleye and Northern Pike

: A good guide should be easy to engage with and responsive to your questions or concerns.

: Our guides are courteous, professional, and eager to make your fishing experience enjoyable.

Patience and teaching ability

: Our guides are patient and able to explain techniques. A guide who is enthusiastic about teaching will help you get the most out of your trip.

Fishing Approach and Ethics

Conservation-minded

: Our guides will follow sustainable fishing practices, including catch and release. Ensure the guide respects local regulations and promotes ethical fishing practices.

Safety

: Our guides should be knowledgeable about safety on the water, including weather awareness, first aid, and emergency procedures.

We are a fly

-in American plan fishing resort 250 miles North of Winnipeg. Room and board are included and our guides are not allowed alcohol.
