As a member of the Global Markets team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be delivering innovative banking and investment solutions to CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s retail, wealth and business clients including corporates, governments and institutional clients around the world.   • Passion for financial markets \xe2\x80\x93 Demonstrate strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills, with keen interest in the financial markets and proven record of academic success, teamwork and extracurricular involvement.
  • Project management \xe2\x80\x93 Take the lead with projects and tasks that will provide the opportunity to learn about the Capital Markets industry and to develop the skills required for solid financial analysis.
  • Reporting and analysis - Gain valuable knowledge of the process involved in writing research reports, forecasting, researching and analyzing companies, industries and market trends.
  • Communication \xe2\x80\x93 Partner with your team to make an impact by applying a technical skillset to help generate insights and/or optimize processes. Showcase highly effective written, oral and presentation skills with an ability to explain complex concepts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Self Identify as First Nations, Metis or Inuit
  • You must be currently enrolled in a MBA or Masters program, targeting students graduating in 2025. Students with a technical undergraduate or graduate degree (ex: Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.), along with a strong understanding of financial reporting preferred.
  • You have demonstrated interest in Capital Markets. You are highly motivated, accomplished and a success-oriented individual who has a keen interest in pursuing a career in the financial services industry demonstrated through school courses, clubs and/or related work experience. You have a proven record of academic success, teamwork and extracurricular involvement.
  • You are organized and work gracefully under pressure. You can juggle multiple tasks and prioritize work to make timely decisions and take appropriate action.
  • You\'re passionate about people. You find meaning in relationships, and surround yourself with a diverse network of partners. You build trust through respect and authenticity.
