Our esteemed client is in search of a highly motivated Firmware Developer to join their Hardware Engineering department. This role will be integral in shaping the future of their innovative healthcare simulation products.

The Role:

As a Firmware Developer, you will be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle for healthcare simulation products. This includes, but is not limited to, analysis, design, coding, testing, validation, integration, and fine-tuning of novel solutions.

You will be a vital component of a multidisciplinary team that comprises professionals from different sectors such as firmware, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, integrating, debugging, and verifying embedded firmware applications in C and/or C++.
  • Analyzing firmware performance in real-time data acquisition/control systems within a medical simulation environment.
  • Developing logical and physical design documents, and utilizing data modeling techniques to expand and enhance the current firmware architecture.
  • Establishing specifications for features and firmware architecture, as well as troubleshooting and resolving intricate software/hardware issues in embedded real-time systems.
  • Ensuring the completeness of business and system requirements, and their translation into design, implementation, and verification guidelines.
  • Contributing to the development of coding, design, and architectural standards and procedures to ensure project compliance.
  • Collaborating with the development team to resolve challenging design issues.
  • Participating in project planning and estimation.
  • Contributing to product architecture.
Security Clearance Level Needed:

Controlled Goods.

Additional Skills/Expertise/Qualifications Required:
  • Computer Vision (STM32, Object tracking, Object recognition)
  • Embedded AI (STM32, Predictive maintenance, Nano Edge)
  • Digital Signal Processing (STM32, CMSIS DSP)
Position Time Type:

This is a full-time position.

Work Arrangement:

This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a blend of on-site and remote work.

Site Access Requirement:

Access to the client\'s site will be necessary. Therefore, a Control Goods Certificate will be required.
