Spend your weekends exploring some of the most amazing natural attractions and activities Canada has to offer, including hiking, biking, river rafting and more! Just 25 minutes away from the town of Lake Louise, Cathedral Mountain Lodge is located in Yoho National Park on the bank of the Kicking Horse River, shadowed by the 10,500 foot (3,200 m) peaks of Mt. Stephen & Cathedral Mountain. The Fine Dining Server is a part of the Cathedral Mountain Lodge fine dining team responsible for guest and food service in the Riverside Dining Room. This position requires strong multi-tasking and customer service skills.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Breakfast service
• Anticipating guest needs
• A la carte dinner with wine service
• Bussing of tables
• Cleanliness and organization of dining room
• Proper food handling procedures
• Strong menu knowledge and food pairing suggestions
• Opening and closing procedures
• All other duties as required

Details:

• Fulltime, working up to 40 hrs. a week
• Hourly wage with gratuities,
• Staff accommodation onsite, $10.00/day, includes all meals and laundry
• May 18, 2023 \xe2\x80\x93 October 7, 2023 (TBC)
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada prior to offer of employment.

Qualifications:

• Min. 1 yr. of fine dining serving experience,
• Serving it Right certificate or equivalent,
• Previous tourism/hospitality experience, as asset,
• Second language, an asset
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
• Must be 100% guest service oriented, have excellent people skills with a positive and upbeat personality
• Outdoor enthusiast, a passion for hiking and exploring the Rocky Mountains
