Position: Financial Reporting Manager
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Salary: A competitive salary offered based on experience including group benefits
Work Environment: Hybrid, one day in the office, Wednesday
Job Type: 12-month contract to start mid/end of August

A well-established company is looking for expertise in Financial Reporting and leading a small team. This key position manages full cycle month-end accounting, monthly financial reports and ensures the integrity of company policies, procedures and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness of monthly accounting and general ledger accounts
- Manage all accounting accounts and lease schedules, ensure banking controls are in place and kept current
- Ensure compliance of government reporting and integrity of company financial systems
- Support the Director of Finance and liaise with Auditors, external Accounting Accountants specific to quarterly and annual reporting

Qualifications:

- Three years of experience in an Accounting or Financial reporting environment with supervisory experience leading a small team
- CPA designation
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, taxation, and government filing, a strong proficiency using MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Flexible, adaptable to changing business needs and one who thrives contributing to business processes
- Results oriented, a self starter, the ability to resolve complex finance issues
