As a Financial Accounting Manager [15 month contract] your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation and distribution of monthly financial package, including detailed variance analysis
• Lead a team of 3 financial analysts
• Ensure the daily reconciliation of all firm bank accounts
• Manage the monthly account reconciliations, recommending and actioning required adjustments
• Review of the team\xe2\x80\x99s monthly account reconciliations
• Ensure the timely report filing and payment of GST/HST
• Management / coordinate response to Finance departmental requests
• Coordination of year end audit planning, deliverable preparation and liaising with the external auditors
• Participation / lead special projects as required
• Monthly analysis of technology costs

• CPA designation or equivalent with minimum 5 years work experience
• Prior experience in financial statement analysis and presentation
• Solid understanding of Sage 300 is an asset
• Strong Excel skills
• Well organized with a track record of meeting timelines
• Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and oral communication skills
