Posted On: Apr 1, 2024Financial Reporting Specialist (Contract)Our client is on the search for a Financial Reporting Specialist (Contract) to join their team! Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical accounting abilities in financial report & MD&A preparation. The ideal candidate will have experience with IFRS reporting. If this seems like the perfect role for you, Apply now!Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Execute hands-on preparation of the IFRS based financial statement package.
  • Maintain financial statements quality control: footing, note disclosures, etc.
  • Liaison with the various subsidiaries to gather inputs for deliverables.
  • Prepare accounting research memos, special projects, and other tasks as required
Your strengths include:
  • CPA designation
  • Strong technical accounting and Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Public practice experience is an asset
  • Ability to start quickly
