You will be a motivated self-starter with excellent teamwork skills and at least three (3) years of accounting experience, ideally including two (2) years plus in public practice. You\'ll play a key role in the month-end close process, lead special projects and collaborate effectively within our growing team.What you\'ll do:

  • Assist with the month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and supporting schedules across multiple reporting entities and currencies
  • Prepare supplementary schedules, reconciliations and financial records for accruals, debt, contract revenue transactions, amortization of deferred sales commissions and debt issuance costs, and other financial items to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, completeness and integrity of accounting information
  • Review, analyze, and stay current on changes in Master Service Agreements between the company and Foundation partners to follow the correct revenue recognition methodology
  • Prepare US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) consolidated financial statements
  • Analyze financial results and produce variance analysis reports
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities in collaboration with internal teams
  • Assist with process documentation, internal controls, and cross-training initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Participate in the implementation of new software tools and financial reporting systems
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on accounting and financial reporting issues
  • Other reporting and accounting projects as required
What you\'ll bring:
  • Bachelor\'s degree and working towards or holding a Canadian CPA designation
  • Minimum of three years of accounting experience; public practice experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with US GAAP principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Experience with revenue recognition from customer contracts
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A proactive approach to learning and improving processes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
