Position Summary
An entrepreneurial, curious, and results-driven Financial Expert is needed to join our Strategy and Growth team. As a Financial Expert, you will influence the direction of our custom financial applications for individual investors and bring subject matter expertise to client projects. This is a unique opportunity to combine your love of finance with your love of technology. This position will work with Fortune 500 clients, technologists, product owners, and others to shape our products. The ideal candidate has a strong analytics/fact-based decision-making background, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.

Duties & Accountabilities
Contributing member to multiple project teams responsible for defining and writing functional data requirements, including defining financial calculations for back testing, portfolio allocations, hypothetical growth, and other financial metrics
Act as a stakeholder for multiple capabilities/products and serve as an expert to guide clients
Evaluate new digital investing solutions/modules for possible inclusion in product roadmaps, based on financial knowledge and/or industry experience
Analyze the use of alternative financial data to enhance existing modules
Develop financial analysis and market commentary, using internal natural language generation tools

Business Competencies
Two to four years of applicable financial services experience, including in brokerage, sales and trading, investment banking and/or investment consulting
Progress towards CFA or CMT designation a plus
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Ability to analyze and explain stock, ETF and mutual fund performance
Moderate/advanced Excel skills
SQL skills and ability to query and analyze vendor and client data a plus
Knowledge of global markets, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, currencies, and/or alternative asset classes
Knowledge of market and fundamental data
Strong interest in FinTech and providing investors with the best digital, financial experience in the industry

Compensation/Benefits Information: (US ONLY)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $80k to $115k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
