Reporting to the Sr. Manager, FP&A Project, the Financial Data Analyst will work closely with the FP&A project team to develop the FP&A process design and gain an in-depth understanding of the existing and future state FP&A data flows and system integrations. The Analyst will analyze and review data available and inform of unification required for a new planning system implementation. The Analyst will assist with the development of analytics and tools utilized by the FP&A teams to enhance and stream-line forecasting methods. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to manage FP&A stakeholders. What you will do:
Gather data requirements and provide input into overall FP&A system design
Assist with transition from existing systems/processes to future solutions
Compare and analyze data across existing planning modules and supporting systems, determine commonalities and differences in data structure
Determine data gaps across Nutrien\'s business units and provide recommendations to resolve
Coordinate data integrations across HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and other
Update background tables and recommend changes to formula logic to accommodate system and end-user requirements
Evaluate opportunities to implement advanced forecasting methods and automation
Connect data sources to required reporting platform and assist with report development
Ensure data integrity across various systems and reporting
Perform and document system testing results to ensure integrity of new system
Communicate with various stakeholders in the business to understand processes and extract required information
What you will bring:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a related discipline such as accounting, finance, or computer science and holds or is working towards an accounting or finance designation
3+ years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft office (particularly Excel) products
Working knowledge of relevant systems (SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Oracle eBS, Hyperion, Share Point) considered an asset
Analytical: ability to analyze existing data flows and underlying processes to assess deficiencies and identify future opportunities
Adaptability: flexibility to work on various activities and different types of tasks concurrently
Internal planning system knowledge base including the development of training material, methods, and tools
Attention to detail
Ability to demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards
Excellent written and verbal communication
The ability to work independently on large and small projects, with all levels of staff and leadership across the organization in a multi-task, deadline-oriented, team environment
Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range $77,600 - 106,700 annually. This range is estimated for Financial Data Analyst, FP&A Project role in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
