Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting practices and a strong understanding of financial management. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, managing budgets, and providing strategic insights to support business growth.

Duties



Manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Oversee budgeting processes, including forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Conduct account reconciliations and perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or other relevant tools to streamline financial processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business performance. Ensure timely reporting of financial data to management and stakeholders. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required. Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when required. Effective communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
